Xiaomi Mi 6 comes in three variants. The base model with 64 GB storage and 6GB of RAM is priced CNY 2,499 (roughly INR 23,500). The second variant sports 128 GB of internal storage and features 6 GB of RAM. It is priced CNY 2,899 (roughly INR 27,000). Both the variants will be available in three color options -black, white and blue.
The third model named Mi 6 Ceramic features curved ceramic body on four-sides and 18K gold-plated camera rims at the rear. The phone sports 128 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM. The model will be available only in black color and is priced INR. 38,766.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Specifications
Xiaomi Mi 6, the new flagship smartphone from Xiaomi, is powered by the latest octa-core 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The phone features a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) 5.15-inch display. The display brightness can be adjusted from maximum 600 nits to as low as 1 nits.Its four-sided 3D glass feature offers a premium look and improves the phone’s overall appeal. The sides are made from stainless steel. The handset makers have scrapped the 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone supports Type-C USB port.
Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a fingerprint scanner under-glass at the front. The phone sports dual rear cameras – a 12-MP wide-angle camera and another 12-MP telephoto camera for 2x lossless zoom. The cameras come with features like phase-detection autofocus and four-axis anti-shake functionality.
The phone also features an 8 MP camera at the front for taking selfies. The camera supports capturing 1080p videos at 30 fps (frames per second) and slo-mo videos.
Connectivity options include 2X2 MIMO Wi-Fi, next generation Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G+ networks. The dual-SIM phone is powered by a 3350mAh battery. The smartphone comes with NFC and is compatible with the company's Mi Pay - an NFC-based mobile payments service.
